These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Digital Standards Union, also called DSU. By using the website, applying for a listing, attending an event, creating an account, or interacting with DSU in any way, you agree to these terms.
DSU is a private platform and network. We decide how it operates, who can use it, what standards apply, what benefits are offered, and what content or businesses appear on the service.
Submitting an application, passing an audit, verifying a domain, attending an event, or creating an account does not guarantee that you will be accepted into DSU, listed in the directory, keep a listing, keep the same level of visibility, or continue to receive access to any feature.
We may reject, suspend, limit, downgrade, remove, or restore access at our discretion. We may also edit, unpublish, or remove listings, event access, business workspaces, or public content if we believe that is best for DSU, the community, or the integrity of the service.
We reserve the right to audit, review, re-audit, re-verify, or request additional information at any time. We may do that before approval, after approval, after a complaint, after a change in ownership, when standards change, or simply because we want to keep the network current.
We are not required to explain every audit decision, methodology change, or enforcement choice in detail. We may use automated tools, manual review, third-party information, internal scoring, public records, or our own judgment when making these decisions.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide. If you create an account, you are responsible for protecting your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
If you claim a business, you represent that you are authorized to act for that business. We may require proof of ownership, proof of authority, a business email verification, or additional follow-up steps before or after access is granted.
We reserve the right to charge for any part of DSU now or later. That includes memberships, listings, audits, verifications, premium visibility, events, tools, workshops, partner features, or other services.
We may introduce new fees because operating DSU takes ongoing work and cost. Audits, review time, support, moderation, event operations, infrastructure, product development, partner management, fraud prevention, and data quality all require resources. Charging may also help us reduce abuse and keep the network useful for legitimate members.
We may change pricing, billing structure, included features, renewal terms, or paid access requirements at any time. We may offer free access, paid access, grandfathered access, trial access, or invitation-only access, and we may change or end any of those models when we choose.
By using DSU, you agree that we may use, publish, display, share, adapt, summarize, and distribute information you submit to operate, market, analyze, or improve the platform, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
We may display or share business details, profile content, verification status, listing data, event participation, feedback, and other material where we think it supports the network or our business.
You agree not to:
We do not promise leads, revenue, ranking improvements, event attendance, business growth, customer trust, media coverage, or any specific outcome. DSU may help your business, but results vary and depend on many factors outside our control.
DSU is provided on an as available and as is basis to the fullest extent allowed by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, perfect data accuracy, or permanent availability of any feature, listing, event, or account.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, DSU and its owners, operators, affiliates, team members, contractors, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform.
If we are found liable for any claim, our total liability will be limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred dollars if you paid us nothing, whichever is greater.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DSU and its owners, operators, affiliates, team members, contractors, and partners from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your use of DSU, your business, your content, your violation of these terms, or your violation of someone else’s rights.
We may change the service, these terms, the audit rules, listing standards, event rules, pricing, or membership structure at any time. Your continued use of DSU after changes means you accept the updated version.
These terms are governed by the laws that apply to the operator of DSU, without regard to conflict of law rules, except where mandatory law says otherwise.
If you have questions about these terms, contact us through the DSU website or any support channel we make available.
